Mitel Next, our signature annual partner conference, was back in person worldwide for 2023. For the first time since pre-pandemic February 2020, the Mitel team gathered with over 400 partners, key consultants, and sponsors to deep dive into strategy, vision, product roadmap, and enablement and to celebrate partner award winners from across the globe.
The global Mitel teams delivered hours of mainstage content, dedicated breakout sessions, Solution Center networking, executive meetings, Partner Advisory Council sessions, and a fireside chat with Mitel Co-Founder Terry Matthews before culminating in awards celebrations showcasing Mitel’s best-performing partners over the last year.
The entire event was designed based on feedback from our partners, kicking off with a keynote by CEO Tarun Loomba that clarified how we got to where we are and the massive opportunity ahead that he sees for Mitel and all partners in our ecosystem.
It wasn’t enough to speak theoretically. Sessions outlined why we’re confident that Mitel and our partners are uniquely poised to take advantage of a massive global unified communications (UC) opportunity and why partners can be sure they’ve backed the right horse with Mitel. We outlined our investments in technology and innovation, highlighted enhancements to the Mitel Global Partner Program, and dove deep into the product roadmap and the exciting ways we integrate Mitel technology with critical applications in the core vertical markets Mitel serves.
We talked at length about Contact Center; MiVoice Business (MiVB) and its increased accessibility thanks to the release of the SMB Controller for MiVB; MX-One, MIR; collaboration tools; the simplicity of the MiVoice Business and Microsoft Teams integration; and how our data can dramatically reduce churn and improve partners’ win rates and profits as they upsell/cross-sell within their own installed base or look to tackle new logos, just to name a few hot topics.
