Primary Service
Use this section to control logging for SIP and MiNet devices, SIP trunks, call recording, and clustering.
- Logging credits per second: This setting must be
at the default value unless advised by Product Support. A credit
system is used to prevent the logger from consuming many system
resources. If the logger exceeds the number of log credits available,
it will discard any additional logs. This value can be set to let
the logger write more messages per second:
- a high value might impact system performance.
- a low value might prevent necessary information from being logged.
- Number of logs to keep: This setting defines the number of logs from the main service to be kept. Older logs are discarded when new ones are created, and any rotated logs are compressed to save on disk space.
