Use this procedure to add MiNET devices and register their credentials for secure authentication.
Note that MiNet device access is restricted to authorized users by default. Although we don't recommend it, you can lift the restriction and allow users to pass through directly to the ICP.

Force set-side codec |
In order to reduce the amount of bandwidth consumed on the Internet side of the connection, you can select the compression codec to apply to the voice traffic going to the remote MiNET set.
Note: Not supported for MiCollab deployments. |
Default is Use primary setting. |
Codec support |
If you are doing secure call recording and the 3rd-party call recording equipment (CRE) only supports G.711a, G.711u and G.729a, you can restrict MBG to using those codecs. If you are not operating under these limitations, you should allow MBG to use an unrestricted range of codecs.

Disable SRTP |
Select Enabled, Disabled, or Use primary setting to allow the selected remote IP Phone to use the global Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP) setting. If this option is enabled, SRTP is disabled; if this option is disabled, SRTP is enabled. If SRTP is enabled then unless a remote MiNet set connected to MBG supports SRTP, MBG causes its calls to fail. Notes:
